On January 19, 2023, in celebration of what it would have been his 35th birthday, Albion street in The Flats in Holyoke, was dedicated to honor, and remember Justin Chavez, Extraordinaiire, a young artist rapper and community organizer, who sadly and unexpectedly passed away on April 17th, 2022.\n\nAs a way to honor, remember, and celebrate the accomplishments of Justin Chavez, we invited his mother, Elsie Rodr\xedguez Garc\xeda to share with us her memories and thoughts of Justin as a young emerging artist, as a son, as a community leader who took inspiration from his mother's example, and how the legacy of Extraordinaiire will continue inspiring the communities in Holyoke, MA.\n\n#MadeInHolyoke
