Antonique Smith on Spate Radio talks new album and more
b'Smith was born in\\xa0East Orange, New Jersey. Smith is well known for her starring as Mimi in\\xa0Jonathan Larson\'s\\xa0Broadway\\xa0production of\\xa0Rent. She was also the poster girl for\\xa0Rent, displayed on taxi cabs in NYC and posters across the country. Smith left the role of Mimi in the musical\\xa0Rent\\xa0on Broadway to record her album and expand her film career. She also starred in the movie "Notorious" about Biggie Smalls. She is currently working on her debut album and will be joining Spate Radio to talk about her new projects.'
