Joel joined his first band at age 14 and became\\xa0the third best selling solo artist of all time in the United States. He\\u2019s sold more records than The Stones, Bruce Springsteen and Madonna, but at this point, he says, the \\u201crock star thing\\u201d is something he can \\u201ctake off.\\u201d\\xa0\\u201cI go shopping, I cook my own food, I wash the dishes, I take out the garbage \\u2026 And the music has nothing to do with money or career.\\xa0It\\u2019s just part of me.
