6: About Being Responsible And In Control Of Your Outcomes

Published: Jan. 15, 2021, 5 p.m.

Happy Friday, friends! I'm coming solo to you this week pouring my heart out (some may call it ranting ;)) about my current state of mind, things I'm excited about this year, my conviction that now is your time to take center-stage to speak your story, and how being responsible puts you in control of the outcome you desire in any situation.

Take care, friends. I love you.

Here are the takeaways:

  1. No one's coming to save you. Instead, use your time and resources wisely and spend them on things, people, and events that fuel your heart and soul
  2. You have the ability to heal yourself and others, even if it's just 1 person
  3. Someone is waiting for you to tell her story and to give her permission to tell hers
  4. Be available
  5. Be mindful what you give your time and energy to; what you say yes to, you're saying no to something else
  6. The opposite is also true: With great responsibility comes great power
  7. Responsibility = the ability to respond
  8. You have the power to change the outcomes of what happened to you
  9. Think about and be grateful for what you have access to, to process your feelings
