Congress is in the midst of its two-week Easter Recess, making it a perfect time for NAHU members to meet with lawmakers while they are back in district to discuss our federal priorities. While the recess heads into its second week, NAHU’s vice presidents of congressional affairs John Greene and Chris Hartmann recap the past several weeks, including the ongoing legal challenges over the ACA and regulatory workarounds prompted by the Trump Administration. John and Chris review the status of the Texas v. U.S. case and the ruling that overturned the association health plan rules. They also discuss our recent comments on the administration’s drug rebate proposal, as well as legislation on Medicare, Medicare-for-All, and surprise billing.
