\\nFirst, it would appear that Uncle John Keawe\'s show in Carlsbad, CA on 11/11 is cancelled. The show notes from Sunday have been updated (below).

\\nThen, listener Uncle Dick sent along the following updates for the Palo Alto/San Jose area:

  1. In San Jose on the first Wednesday of each month there is a Hawaiian open-mic night at a place called Espresso Garden on Bascom Avenue.\\n
  2. This Saturday, Ozzie Kotani will give a slack-key workshop at Gryphon Stringed Instruments in Palo Alto.\\n
  3. Every Friday and Saturday beginning at 8 pm there is live Hawaiian music at the Hukilau restaurant in downtown Palo Alto. It\'s a different band every night.\\n
\\nAs mentioned in the show, Patrick Landeza has been traveling and performing with Cyril Pahinui a few months ago and is currently performing with Dennis Kamakahi. Here are the links to his web sites:
