Court Judgments of the Week

\n - Hillside Parks Ltd v. Snowdonia National Parks Authority [2020] EWCA Civ 1440 a Court of Appeal decision concerning the \u2018Pilkington\u2019 principle regarding successive planning permissions relating to the same site, and the status of a planning permission granted in 1967.
\n - Roao Barry Zins v East Suffolk Council & others [2020] EWHC 2850 a challenge to the conditional grant of permission for the creation of a lake & reuse of excavated material on site on grounds that the officer report materially misled on the noise effects & alleged heritage benefits.

Appeals of the Week

\n - A section 78 inspector decision relating to 93 dwellings on a green field site on the edge of Sutton Courtenay, Abingdon. Issues included the effect of the OHGD and WMS 12/9/2018 on HLS.
\n - A Secretary of State decision dated 2 November 2020 relating to a July 2018 application for a National Distribution Centre by Liberty Properties & Eddie Stobart agreed to be an inappropriate development in the Green Belt.
