Part 1 – Jack Reviews The Last of Us Part II

This episode of Hardly Focused is brought to you on Father’s Day! Resident show-father Mike Tarara enjoys the day by watching “Moana” for the umpteenth time.

Elsewhere, Jack spends the weekend playing The Last of Us Part II. He thinks it’s a masterpiece. Others disagree, gauging by the review-bombing the game is enduring as of writing.

Part 2 – Mr. President Goes To Oklahoma

Content creator Nate Fillers has a YouTube channel, Sbassbear Comedy. Check them out! Jack plays audio from their newest release, “Warning Our Past Selves About 2020.”

On that note, Jack mentions how YouTube is flagging videos that mention “coronavirus.” It’s part of YouTube’s attempt to quash the spread of misinformation, though it’s potentially backfiring according to Nate. By the way, this episode of Hardly Focused is audio-only; it’s far too hot to be on camera for this one.

Meanwhile, Danny Tramp is in Tulsa, Oklahoma for his first official re-election rally. According to Thump, there is too much testing happening for COVID-19. Because, you know, that makes sense. It makes as much sense as his politically incorrect terminology for the virus.

Part 3 – Molly McMuffin

Jack fires off this segment by having a coughing fit. Like our President, Jack possesses an inability to properly consume liquid.

While he recovers, Jack plays audio of Stacey Talbert, a sheriff’s deputy from Georgia who recently went viral. Talbert appears in a self-recorded video, having a panic attack over a delayed McDonald’s order. Talbert fears her order was tampered with, triggering fear and anxiety given the nation’s recent sentiment towards law enforcement.

Suffice to say, Mike has a field day with this one.
