The party's chance encounter of a priestess of Ixi, the goddess of luck, leads a few members of the party trying their hand at a game of chance in order to gain entry into a dilapidated temple of Ixi, a fight against a ghoul and a banshee, the obtaining of a magical bag, and a potential new ally. After the encounter in the temple, the group makes their way to Eldowyn to the manor of Governor Greenwood where they receive a request from a stranger.
