Kotok has struck out at the group, but not directly. He has kidnapped one of their friends, Sister Kiri, the priestess of Ixi. Emotions flare. Indecision and impulse take hold. They have no plan, only a desire to save Sister Kiri and rid the world of Kotok for good. This is what they take with them to his hideout, where they venture into something unseen but certainly felt.
