43 | Tarrare: The Hungry Hungry Human
Special Note: We discussed not releasing an episode this week due to the domestic terrorist attack in Washington D.C. this week, but ultimately decided we're not going to let those assholes silence us in any way. We also know that it's a traumatic time for a lot of people and humor can be a great coping mechanism. So, we hope this episode brings you comfort in the form of laughter and peace in form of looking away from the current dumpster fire for twenty-one minutes.
I don’t know about everyone else, but I (Marti), have been enjoying some extra holiday treats here and there. It’s that time of year after all and it got me thinking of a story I once heard about a man that ate so much he became legendary for it! So, in honor of my extra holiday pounds, I’m going to be talking about Tarrare, the most gluttonous man to ever live in this week’s episode!
