You probably know Polly as the sixth song of Nirvana\'s most successful album, Nevermind; which was released in 1991.
What you may not know is the song\\u2019s disturbing origin story or that it\'s based on real events. Kurt Cobain had actually written the song back in 1988 and it\'s based on a horrible crime that had taken place the year before.
