This makes us wonder if all of what we are seeing is self-perpetuating and that the growing perversions, similar to the Roman Empire, indicate unwise decisions that lead to our downfall. The Olympics again are being perceived as a pattern of the deviancy we are embracing while turning us into gold medalists in cognitive dissonance.
