Scientists are now saying that genetically modified mosquitoes developed by Oxitec may have impacted the actual genetics of the natural mosquito populations where these bioengineered bugs were released and consequently, made them stronger. Now, the population of these super hybrid mosquitoes has grown and are carriers of Zika, Yellow Fever, and Dengue.
