The Travesty of Permissiveness

A violent crime unpunished in the darkness of ignorance is a tragedy of justice; a violent crime unpunished in the light of knowledge is a travesty of justice. The criminal who successfully evades judgement, may recidivate again in the present fear of retribution, while the criminal whose judgement is willfully ignored, will recidivate again with exponential brutally and wanton zeal, emboldened by societies permissiveness, never fearing to face the retribution they have earned.
