GPS YOUR CAREER: BARRIERS TO SUCCESS

Published: Aug. 27, 2014, 3 p.m.

I have two fabulous guests this week, Katty Kay and Carol Frohlinger.

In the first segment, Katty Kay is joining me for a discussion about women and confidence…or lack of it and how that holds us back in the workplace. The second half of the show Carol Frohlinger will be discussing second generation gender bias, what it is, and how it affects our advancement. So we will start out with the internal barriers and finish the show with the external, or what it is about our work environment that can sabotage us.

Katty Kay is the co-author of New York Times Bestseller, “The Confidence Code.” She is the anchor of “BBC World News America,” based in Washington, D.C. She is also a frequent contributor to “Meet the Press” and “Morning Joe,” and a regular guest host for “The Diane Rehm Show” on NPR. You can learn all about the Confidence Code and take an assessment to see how confident you are on the website, http://theconfidencecode.com
