Lilburn To Get New Administration

City Manager Bill Johnsa is set to retire as the town\u2019s top administrator on May 26. The Lilburn City Council voted Monday night to promote Assistant City Manager Jenny Payne-Simpkins to be Johnsa\u2019s successor.

\u201cI am confident that Jenny will provide the leadership and vision this community has come to expect as it relates to serving an inclusive community that embraces family values as a quality of life,\u201d Johnsa said. \u201cWith the selection of Jenny, Lilburn\u2019s long-established history of visionary leadership continues. She\u2019s an asset to us and what we aspire to achieve.
