Duluth resident and Women in Action founder Lisa No\xebl Babbage said she will formally announce her candidacy during the event Sunday. Babbage\u2019s Republican credentials include serving on the Gwinnett County Republican Party\u2019s executive board and the Georgia GOP State Committee.
\u201cShe vows to keep the open seat being vacated by Congressman Rob Woodall in the \u2018Republican camp,\u2019 \u201c her campaign said in an announcement. \u201cShe further pledges to contribute a significant portion of her legislative salary back to small businesses and community programs in the seventh district.\u201d
