EP: 228 142 New Homes Maybe Coming To Braselton
www.GoodMorningGwinnett.com A developer is seeking permission from county officials to build a 142-home neighborhood just off a more rural stretch of Braselton Highway in the northeastern corner of Gwinnett County.
Clayton Properties Group filed a rezoning application for the 65.05-acre site at the intersection of Mount Moriah Road and Braselton Highway in unincorporated Auburn. The developer wants the site rezoned from a R-100 single family detached neighborhood development to a \u201ctraditional neighborhood development\u201d zoning, which would allow for smaller lot sizes than what is found in surrounding neighborhoods.
\u201cThe Applicant proposes to develop a high-quality, single-family residential community with characteristics of both a traditional neighborhood development as well as a conservation subdivision,\u201d said Shane Lanham, an attorney for the developer, in a letter to county officials.
