Relatively Speaking Podcast: Emergency guest co-host

Published: Jan. 2, 2017, 5:53 p.m.

The Relatively Speaking Podcast is back to start your 2017 in correct order. Unfortunately, regular co-host Jared Mintz is out sick due to singing far too loud on New Year's Eve, and an emergency replacement had to be found.\n\nLuckily for the millions of listeners, Joseph Nardone was able to find a relatively famous co-host to spot host during those difficult times. FanRag Sports Content Director, and the man who broke the Chris Sale ripping uniforms into shreds news, Tommy Stokke steps in to fill the void left by Jared's need to rest and recover.\n\nSome MLB things were discussed, but not too much. Rather, the dynamic duo began with the topic of college basketball -- or, really, how messed up the sport has been since the season began. All the upsets.\n\nAfter that, it is off to the realm of MLB Hall of Fame discussions. Also, the guys somehow plug the back-to-back-to-back AAU national champions.\n\nBad Tweets is about the attempt to separate life from art, and how the use of Bubble Guppies in poor context is as evil as that time something evil really happened.\n\nThis episode closes as do all Monday shows, with Absurd Questions.\n\nJoseph was able to crack the Tommy Stokke code. We learned many things about the baseball columnist and reporter. We learned what he would do for a living if he didn't scribble slapstick words, and what he most definitely would not do.\n\nWe also find out what Joseph's first day in the FanRag Sports office would be like if he were ever man enough to go visit.
