The Knee-High man took me back to school when I first heard the word Pygmy. I am not sure if I heard it in a good way, or did someone use it as an insult. You see, I didn\'t grow up beyond 5 feet. But that didn\'t stop me from winning a beauty pageant at 18! This story from the African-American tradition of stories has travelled with the people across the seas. I can see this story as a striving for basic human dignity, a stature that gives strength, leadership, dominance and perhaps respect.

It\\u2019s a story about needs, wants and all that we want to be without knowing why!

Listen to this one, told with a little tact and sensitivity, this one can open up conversations that are difficult to have. Listen to it & tell me what do you think!
