Clay Rogers, born in Kannapolis and moved to Mooresville as a boy, is one of the few people in racing who you will find originated from the area. He sat down in a go-kart and hasn't stepped away from racing since. Winning 5 Championships in the Pro Cup Series and securing a win at the enviable Snowball Derby in 2006, Clay left his mark on the sport as a driver. Since running around with Rodney Childers and a stint in Matt Kenseth's old ride, he has settled into his spot helping young drivers make their NASCAR dreams come true. Working at DGR Racing and developing the next generation, Clay Rogers is a homegrown champion passing on a legacy of success to keep the sport we know and love alive.
