With only a few days left until the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit. I wanted to give you guys my mock draft 3.0 with some pretty interesting trade ideas. In each episode, I take you through every pick in the draft and tell you what I think will happen versus what I think the team will do. I'll breakdown every pick in the first round what I like and don't about the player.\xa0\n* I did have to update the trades just a bit. \n11. (Trade) PHI- CB Quinyon Mitchell, Toledo\nBears receive \n\n 22nd overall pick\n (53rd) 2nd round pick\n (161) 5th round pick \n\nThe Bears trade back once again to collect even more trade assets. Bears taking advantage of the runs on CBs. and OTs. \nEagles receive \n\n 11th overall pick \n (140th) 5th round pick\n\nThe Eagles General Manager Howie Roseman strikes again. Making a big time trade to move up 11 spots to jump into from of some CB needy teams. They take Quinyon Mitchell to add to this secondary. He's a perfect fit for Vic Fangio defense. \n12th. (Trade) GB- CB Cooper DeJean, Iowa\nBroncos receive \n\n 12th overall pick\n (58th) 2nd round pick\n (91st) 3rd round pick\n\nThe Broncos are desperate for a QB even with the addition of QB Zach Wilson. Trading back allows the Broncos to build the roster through the draft. \nPackers receive \n\n 12th overall pick\n (121st) 4th round pick\n\nThe Packers have a lot of draft picks here. They have 5 picks in the top 100. I think the Packers go big and bring in Cooper DeJean from Iowa. Cooper DeJean is the ultimate Swiss army knife under new Defensive Coodinator Jeff Haley. \n13. LV- OT Taliese Fuaga, Oregon State\nRaiders could look to take a CB but I think they look to build the offensive line. After losing two starting offensive linemen the Raiders take the versatile Taliese Fuaga. He fits the mode of a Raider player. Tough and Nasty. New Head Coach Antonio Pierce would approve. \n14. NO- OT Olumuyiwa Fashanu, Penn State\nSaints need help on the offensive line. Adding Olumuyiwa Fashanu could play the left tackle position moving former 1st round pick Trevor Penning to left guard. This could fix two positions on the offensive line. \n15. IND- CB Terrion Arnold, Alabama\nThe Colts missed out on CB L'Jarius Sneed and they need help to match up with all the WRs in the AFC South. Guys like: Calvin Ridley DeAndre Hopkins, Gabe Davis, Nico Collins, Tank Dell and now Stefon Diggs. Help is on the way.\n16. (Trade) NYJ- OG Troy Fautanu, Washington\nSeahawks receive\n\n 18th overall \n (134th) 4th round pick \n\nThe Seahawks with a new Head Coach in Mike McDonald move back two spots to collect another pick in this draft. \nJets receive\n\n 16th pick\n\nThe Jets need help at the offensive. Still a lot of uncertainty at the position. Troy Fautanu can play 4/5 positions on the offensive line. That is exactly what the Jets need.\n17. (Trade) CHI- ED Jared Verse, Florida State\nJaguars receive \n\n 22nd overall pick\n (75th) 3rd round pick \n\nThe Jaguars move up in the 3rd round.\nBears receive\n\n 17th pick\n (96th) 3rd round pick\n (212nd) 6th round pick\n\nThe Bears not only move back and collect some draft picks but they also get the guy they need on defense. ED Jared Verse with, only 31 sacks last year 2nd to last in the league. The Bears have two chip players to help turn around this franchise like the Texans did last year. \n18. (Trade) SEA- OT Graham Barton, Duke\nThe Seahawks get a versatile offensive linemen in Graham Barton. Someone who has played all 5 positions on the offensive line. this is important because the Seahawks are trying to replace 3 starting offensive linemen from last year. \n19. LAR- ED Laiatu Latu, UCLA\nThis will be the first pick for the Rams since 2016 when they took QB Jared Goff. The Rams look to start life without Aaron Donald. I like Laiatu Latu out of UCLA. Latu stays close to home. \n20. PIT- OT Amarius Mims, Georgia\nThe Steelers have taken care of the QB situation for now. New OC Arthur Smith looks to build this offensive line. \n21. MIA- DT Jer'Zhan Newton, Illinois\nDolphins look to replace Christian Wilkins with Newton.
