With only a few days left until the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit. I wanted to give you guys my mock draft 3.0 with some pretty interesting trade ideas. In each episode, I take you through every pick in the draft and tell you what I think will happen versus what I think the team will do. I'll breakdown every pick in the first round what I like and don't about the player. \n1. CHI- QB Caleb Williams, USC\nBears get the new face of the franchise in Caleb Williams. Can he break the Bears curse at QB?\n2. WAS- QB Jadyen Daniels, LSU\nWith a regime can Jayden Daniels be the new Leaders of the Commanders?\n3. NE- QB Drake Maye, UNC\nLife without Bill. What will the Patriots do to turn around this historic franchise? Could the Patriots possibly trade out of the 3rd overall pick and pass on a legacy WR or a franchise QB?\n4. ARZ- WR Marvin Harrison Jr., Ohio State\nCardinals find their next Larry Fitzgerald. With all the talent and bloodline, how good can Marvin Harrison be?\n5. (Trade) MIN- QB JJ McCarthy, Michigan\nChargers trade out of the top 5. to collect 2 extra first round picks to rebuild this roster. \nChargers receive\xa0\n\n (11th) overall pick\n (23rd) overall pick\n (129) in the 4th round pick\n 1st round pick in 2028\n\nVikings receives \n\n (5th) overall pick and \n 2025 2nd round pick\n\nVikings go all in on Michigan QB JJ McCarthy. Will he be the next Jordan Love or Trey Lance/Zach Wilson?\n6. NYG- WR Malik Nabers, LSU\nGiants finally get a WR1 to help Daniel Jones in what could be a make or break season.\n7. TEN- OT Joe Alt, Notre Dame\nTitans under a new regime continue to build this roster. Joe Alt is a near perfect prospect. Help is on the way for QB Will Levis. \n8. ATL- ED Dallas Turner, Alabama\nWith "Kirko" Chains coming to the ATL this offense might have finally broken open. New Head Coach Raheem Morris looks to continue an improving defense.\n9. (Trade) LAC- WR Rome Odunze, Washington\nThe Bears trade out of the Top 10. I know they are passing on WR Rome Odunze and/or ED Jared Verse, but the Bears only have 4 picks in the draft. I expect General Manager Ryan Poles to be working the phone all night. \nBears receive\xa0\n\n 11th overall pick\n (129th) 4th round pick\n (181th) 6th round pick\n\nChargers receive\n\n 9th overall pick\n\nThe Chargers traded back into the Top 10, jumping over the Jets to select WR Rome Odunze. Jim Harabaugh is very famailiar with Rome, back in January they faced each other in the National Championship game. The Chargers, desperate to find pass catchers in the offense find, one for Justin Herbert. Adding Rome could help the development of last year's first round pick Quentin Johnston, who had a rough rookie year to say the least. \n10. (Trade) CIN- TE Brock Bowers, Georgia\nGeneral Manager Joe Douglas for the first time ever trades out of the 1st round to collect more draft capital. I know it's hard to believe the Jets are leaving a lot of big time prospects on the board, but they need depth. Moving back 8 spots and adding a 2nd round pick is a steal. \nJets receive\xa0\n\n 18th overall pick\n (49th) 2nd round pick\n (80th) 3rd round pick\n\n Bengals receive \n\n 10th overall pick\n (72nd) 3rd round pick\n\nThis might be a fever dream but I think the Bengals go all in. With 11 picks the Bengals trade up 8 spots to get a super dynamic pass catcher to go along in this offense. Let's not forget we are assuming that Tee Higgins will be on the roster in 2024. Nonetheless, Brock Bowers would be a great second option in this offense. The AFC is just getting tougher.
