Elizabeth McColgan-Nuttall MBE is a British former middle-distance and long-distance track and road-running athlete.
Liz won the gold medal for the 10,000 metres at the 1991 World Championships, and a silver medal over the same distance at the 1988 Olympic Games.
Liz won the London, Tokyo and New York Marathons, and Commonwealth Gold Medals for her native Scotland. In this episode we learn of Liz's journey from when she was first spotted at school as someone with 'potential' through until some of her greatest memories on the track and road.
