The European Union condemns the killing of Palestinians in an Israeli operation to rescue hostages in Gaza
The high representative of the EU, Josep Borrell, said that reports of -- what he called -- "another massacre of civilians" were appalling. The Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza says more than two hundred Palestinians were killed in the Israeli raid, to rescue the four hostages.
