Things got off to a rather bumpy start today-but since we're (kinda) professional, we did our best to work our way through it. It's sorta like the Orioles' bullpen last night. Not pretty, but a win's a win. Midway through Hour 1, a pleasure to catch up with former Ravens CB Lardarius Webb who clarified that indeed, the tweet he sent earlier in the offseason WAS his way of officially announcing his retirement. We reflected on a near decade-long career in Baltimore, including why he's rooting for Joe Flacco in Denver AND supporting Lamar Jackson. At the top of Hour 2, #WouldYouRatherWednesday. Would you rather have Adley Rutschman but not another Top 10 pick for the next three years (regardless of the Orioles' record) or no Rutschman but Top 2 picks in each of the next three years? At the bottom of Hour 2, former Orioles OF/current ESPN College Baseball analyst David Dellucci checked in to discuss the Orioles' selection of Adley Rutschman and some of their other picks who played college baseball. And we wrapped the show by chatting with Maryland native Jessie T. Usher, the STAR of the new movie "Shaft," in theaters next Friday!
