Earl Thomas is gone. Is that a good thing? Maybe not. But it might have been necessary anyway. We discussed that at length to start today's show-it's really complicated. Early in Hour 1, Orioles play by play voice Kevin Brown joined us to discuss a fun weekend of calling baseball and the not-so-subtle jab he took back at Red Sox broadcaster Dennis Eckersley on Sunday. Later in Hour 1, WJZ analyst/former Super Bowl champion Ravens receiver Qadry Ismail joined us to discuss why the Ravens may have needed to cut ties with Thomas and what they do now moving forward. We discussed those same topics with NFL Network analyst Bucky Brooks to start Hour 2. At the bottom of Hour 2, 105.7 The Fan's Jeremy Conn joined us to discuss getting screwed out of a world championship by a terrible call, the Earl Thomas situation, being Bryan Holaday's doppleganger and colonoscopies.
