This week we have Dr. Burgess on to talk about his path in Theoretical Physics which has led him from Canada, to the United States, to Switzerland, and back to Canada! Dr. Burgess provides excellent explanations regarding effective field theory and it's usage in not only theoretical physics but in understanding almost anything. We also spend some time talking about multiple dimensions, ways the universe may end, black holes, Hawking radiation, and much more.
