Why JPMorgan is being sued over ties to Jeffrey Epstein

It\u2019s been nearly four years since Jeffrey Epstein died in jail while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges. Yet more of his ties to the world\u2019s rich and powerful are still being uncovered, and attempts to obtain some measure of accountability continue. \n\nOne route is through Epstein\u2019s former bank, JPMorgan Chase & Co., which is currently embroiled in two lawsuits, including one from the U.S. Virgin Islands, where Epstein kept an estate. \n\nThe Virgin Islands has issued subpoenas to a number of billionaires in connection with the case \u2013 including Google co-founder Sergey Brin, and more recently, embattled Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
