Hundreds of thousands of protesters took to the streets and union strikes disrupted everything from flights to hospitals in Israel this week, as nearly three months of demonstrations reached a new intensity.\n\nThe protests began in January, when Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu\u2019s government announced plans for a judicial overhaul that would curtail the Supreme Court\u2019s powers.\n\nNetanyahu agreed to pause the legislation on Monday.
