SPRINGFIELD — A Springfield man has been arrested after he allegedly hit a pregnant woman with a 2x4 board and sexually battered her.According to a press release, the Springfield Police Department arrested Matthew Thicklin, 28 and charged him with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and sexual battery.The press release states that police were called to Ascension Sacred Heart Bay hospital, in reference to a sexual battery on Tuesday.Investigators then spoke with the victim, who told them Thicklin battered her with a 2x4 board and had sexually battered her.
