Episode 9: Bouncing Back: Learning How to Cultivate Resilience

Published: Sept. 3, 2020, 6 a.m.

If you’re anything like me, you may be feeling a desire to settle in, re-focus and set some new goals as we prepare to move into Fall. This time of year typically invites me into a time of reflection, contemplation and then discerning how I can take action to finish out the year. With this year bringing new challenges, I wanted to talk about resilience to help us bounce back during times of uncertainty. In this episode I want I get into what resilience is and talk about how we can cultivate it and build up our resilience muscle. It’s short and sweet with some practical tools to get you moving deeper into resilience!

Invitation for the week: How you’ve shown up over the past several months either for yourself, a friend or a family member? How were you resilient?

Quote for the week: “When we learn how to become resilient, we learn how to embrace the beautifully broad spectrum of the human experience.” ― Jaeda Dewalt
