Diane Sare was born in\xa0Burlington, Vermont. She attended Mount Desert Island High School before attending and graduating from Interlochen Arts Academy in 1983. She attended Hamilton College and the New England Conservatory. Sare's career experience includes working as a political organizer and fundraiser, as a classical musician, a choral conductor, and founder of the Schiller Institute NYC Chorus.
