"Everyone has two things in common; everyone has their demons, and everyone wants one thing, to be truly happy." - Pete White

Pete White is a mental health consultant, speaker & author. Using lived experience of mental illness to transform the way we view and tackle mental health. He was an engineer in the Royal Air Force and served in Afghanistan in 2011. He developed Post-traumatic stress disorder and severe depression, while his life fell apart around him, at my lowest point he began suffering psychotic episodes and many times felt on the verge of ending his life.

After years of therapy, multiple medications and hundreds of hours invested into my personal development and recovery things didn’t just improve, I was a completely different person.

He published my book ‘From the bottom of the barrel’ in early 2019 and was blown away by its reception. This fueled his desire to end the toxic stigma around mental health and show people suffering that they are not alone and they can make it through.
