Raised by the Church
In 1946 Ed Rohs was left at a Catholic orphanage in post-World War II Brooklyn.\xa0\xa0 That's where he spent the next 19-years of his life going from one institution to another until he was \u201cunceremoniously dumped out into the world.\u201d\xa0\xa0 In his book \u201cRaised by the Church\u201d Rohs talks about the history of orphanages, and speaks for some of the thousands of baby-boomers taken in by the catholic institutions in New York City.
