Dyslexia is Not a Disability

The International Dyslexia Association defines dyslexia as a specific learning disability that is neurological in origin.\xa0 But members of a boarding school for dyslexic students in Dutchess County, New York don\u2019t use the term \u201cdisability.\u201d \xa0\xa0They prefer to call it a \u201cway to learn differently.\u201d\xa0 On this week\u2019s Fordham Conversations we discuss the issue of dyslexia with three people who have first-hand knowledge of the condition.
