Shooter Suma Shirur won a silver and a bronze medal at Asian Games, a gold, silver and bronze at the Commonwealth Games. At the 2004 Athens Olympics, she finished eighth in the 10m air rifle final. Same year, she shot a maximum 400 points possible in the qualification round at Asian Shooting Championships - a joint world record.\xa0
