Steve Springer is a Mental Performance Coach and Owner of qualityatbats.com.  He played his first two years of collegiate ball at Golden West Junior College before transferring to the Division I University of Utah.  In 1982, he was drafted by the MLB New York Mets in the 20th round. Steve made his MLB debut in 1990 with the Cleveland Indians and then after being placed back down into the Minor Leagues made another MLB appearance in 1992 with the New York Mets.  Overall, he spent 14 seasons in the Minor Leagues and Major Leagues.  After retiring he stayed in professional baseball, scouting for the Arizona Diamondback and Toronto Blue Jays as well as spent some time as an Agent.  He was also a Performance Coach in the Toronto Blue Jays Minor League System for many years.  Overall, Steve spent more than 35 years in professional baseball, now traveling around the country talking about the mental side of hitting.

In this podcast, we start off with Steve telling the story of his baseball journey, starting at high school to when he played in the MLB.  We than dive into competing with confidence and why that is so important.
