Olivia Chow is Toronto's Mayor Elect
Libby is joined by John Mykytyshyn, a Conservative strategist and President of Bradgate Research Group, George Smitherman,\xa0 former Ontario Liberal MPP for Toronto Centre who also served as a health minister and deputy Premier, Peggy Nash, the former NDP Member of Parliament for Parkdale\u2014High Park and Janet Ecker, a former Ontario PC MPP and former finance minister.\n\nIt's official: Olivia Chow has become the next mayor-elect for the City of Toronto. She is the first immigrant woman and member of a visible minority to be elected to office. She got 37 per cent of the vote while Ana Bail\xe3o came in second with 32 per cent of the vote. And remember when, not long ago, Premier Doug Ford said Olivia would be an "unmitigated disaster" for Toronto? Well after her victory, he put out a statement congratulating Olivia and saying, "I will work with anyone ready to work with our government to better our City and province".
