Game Time: Tejaswin Shankar takes us into the punishing world of Decathlon
The Commonwealth Games bronze medallist high jumper Tejaswin Shankar, recently changed gears and ventured into a sporting event that requires an athlete to be a complete all rounder \u2014 Decathlon, in which a total of 10 events are divided equally over two days. This includes the 100 metres, long jump, high jump, shot put and 400 metres on Day 1, and the 110 metres hurdles, discus throw, pole vault, javelin and 1500 metres on Day 2.
In this special episode of Game Time, Asian Games-bound Tejaswin joins hosts Mihir Vasavda and Amit Kamath, along with Indian Express\u2019 Andrew Amsan, to give a masterclass in what it takes to prepare and compete in the gruelling event.
