She\\u2019s a South-Asian beauty entrepreneur, who\\u2019s career took off after a video went viral of her using red lipstick to cover dark circles under her eyes - a trick specific to her skin tone, which instantly resonated with millions of people.\\xa0 Growing up in Texas, she was a far cry from her blonde-haired, blue-eyed peers, and spent years dying her hair and wearing contacts. So of course, it became Deepica\\u2019s dream to see women who look like her represented in the beauty industry.
