As we reach the end of the year, the fall migration of monarchs brings ecological and cultural significance to the people of California and Mexico.\\xa0 Butterflies are a common symbol for life and death in many places and it is believed that monarchs guide the spirits of our ancestors back during the day of the dead, better known as D\\xeda de los Muertos. But monarch butterflies can tell us so much more.
