Jesus and Therapy

Published: Aug. 6, 2024, 8:55 p.m.

I have the pleasure to interview our 25th guest for 2024, Nikki Halbig who is also a believer of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Nikki’s lifelong desire to help people along with her own seasons of hurt and pain led her to become a
life coach. Nikki overcame childhood abuse, many mental health struggles, as well as a traumatic near-death experience during a medical procedure. Nikki states that “the Lord was present through it all and I believe that He has used all the pain to gift me with the compassion, understanding, and interpersonal skills to be an effective coach.” Nikki has always been called to help people,
in different seasons of life, and she has helped different people groups. Her passion for helping others started as a teenager, I volunteered with a ministry for middle schoolers. As a young adult I worked with adolescents with behavioral difficulties. This opened the door for her short career in special education/behavioral therapy where she worked with people with autism for about
7 years. During that time, she got married and started a family and was hit with the sudden desire to work from home so she could be with my children. It was then that she started to consider life coaching. Her lifelong desire to help people along with her own seasons of hurt and pain led her to become a life coach. She overcame childhood abuse, many mental health struggles, as well as a traumatic near-death experience during a medical procedure. The Lord was through it all and she believed that He had used all the pain to gift her with the compassion, understanding, and interpersonal skills to be an effective coach. Her Christian coaching focuses on helping women who feel trapped in a meaningless
existence to rediscover their purpose and ignite their bones with joy and fulfillment so they can live out all that God has for them. Her family of 4 is dedicated to Christ and sharing his love with others. They live a humble life full of love. We welcome Nikki Halbig to “Be an Encourager” podcast.
