When we pray, as believers, we should expect an answer from God, knowing he hears our prayers. The purpose of prayer is to hear from God, his will concerning what we are praying about. Our spirit intercedes on our behalf, petitioning God with those requests that we cannot express with mere words. An explanation is given briefly of three different types of tongues and how speaking in tongues relates to the prayer life of the believer including the speaker\u2019s earliest experiences speaking in tongues.
