North Mecklenburg High School Graduate, Mike Stubbs is an American Hero. Shot in the neck during battle in Vietnam  in 1967, Sgt. Stubbs got to his feet, continued to fight, and saved many lives. He has a Purple Heart, 2 Bronze Stars, a Silver Star and a Combat Infantry Badge. He's the 2018 Military Order of the Purple Heart National Patriot of the Year and a member of the North Carolina Military Veterans Hall of Fame.  He joins Speenberg today to talk about his experience in Vietnam. The actions that gained him those honors. How that experience changed him as a man, and how he continues to give back to this country every day of his life.
