Heather has over fifteen years of experience in education.\xa0
She has worked in early childhood programs,\xa0elementary schools, and at the college level teaching parents and caregivers parent education.\xa0
She is an experienced life coach trained through the Martha Beck Institute and is a certified Gottman Institute instructor.\xa0
Heather is trained as a mediator with King County Dispute Resolution Center and as a co-parent coach with her mentor, Karen Bonnell.\xa0
She loves talking to families and helping them manage the hard work of parenting and self-care.\xa0 She lives in Seattle with her spouse and teenage son.\xa0
She has two adult stepchildren and one grandson from her current marriage.\xa0 Her passion for helping families navigate the challenging terrain of co-parenting and restructuring comes from lived experience.\xa0
Heather co-parents with her ex-wife and works to find a healthy dynamic between the two stepfamilies that keeps the needs and best interests of her son central.
