Halfway To Whangarei by 8 Wired Brewing & Modern Times
- 5.5% ABV
- Inspired by the coal miner's beer of choice in 1800s Wallonia.
- Fermented with our saison strain, followed by secondary fermentation by Modern Times house strain brettanomyces.
- New Zealand hops elevates it from the coal mines and makes it modern.
App Updates
We recently released Untappd 3.3.2 on the App Store and on Google Play. This release, we focused on some minor enhancements to the new direct messaging feature we launched last month, included a ton of fixes for bugs in the app.
- Added "Brewed By" meta data
- Limit the default distance for items on the Discover tab
- Add a beer, brewery, and venue to a message without leaving the conversation
- A new look for the Facebook sharing buttons on cards after check-in
- Added ratings to beers on custom lists you've created
- Copy beer descriptions to the clipboard by long-pressing the text
- Translate beer descriptions on-the-fly into your device's language
