Published: July 31, 2019, 3:10 p.m.

Sarah is pursuing her PhD in Community Health at the Oregon Health Science and Portland State University joint School of Public Health. Her journey into public health began at a small, public flu clinic in Massachusetts. Sarah realized one does not need to be a clinician to positively impact the health of others. She is a budding gerontologist, studying older adults who utilize assisted living and memory care services. She serves as a graduate research assistant at the Institute on Aging at Portland State University. Sarah's other interests include transparent and translational research, centering aging in public health discourse, and engendering inclusiveness and empathy in the world.\xa0 Twitter: @sarahdys ResearchGate:\xa0https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Sarah_Dys\xa0 LinkedIn:\xa0https://www.linkedin.com/in/sarahdys\n\nSupport this podcast at \u2014 https://redcircle.com/dr-ds-social-network/donations\n\nAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands\n\nPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy\n\n--- \n\nSend in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/darian-parker/message
