Facebook Anti-Vaxxer Geouos Are On The Rise
Facebook groups dedicated to health misinformation are being used to to share potentially dangerous advice. The mother of a 4 yr old Colorado boy consulted a Facebook group called \u2018Stop Mandatory Vaccination\u2019 one of the largest known health misinformation groups with more than 178,000 members, after the boy was diagnosed with the flu. According to the mother\u2019s post, the boy was prescribed Tamiflu, by a doctor, but the mother refused to have the prescription filled.
